I am not in my normal state of mind, I'm dragging with jet lag. Overwhelmed. This day is filled with photographing what is all around us. We shuttle out to Monkey Forrest. The monkeys are everywhere and so animated. They are used to the tourists and interact by stealing bananas and letting you get close enough to photograph their faces. All around us are statues of "the gods?" They are Hindu and and believe that the Gods are all around us. Their are small offerings placed in palm woven baskets left in front of store fronts, by the statues, everywhere. Tomorrow Thursday there will be a cremation at the palace. The whole town is getting ready for it. Three people will be cremated. The public is invited and they will shut down the electricity as the flames could burn the electric lines.
